SOLUTRANS 2017: EXPECTED SUCCESS!

Ahead from its opening, SOLUTRANS 2017 (from 21 to 25 November 2017 – Lyon – Eurexpo) looks like a successes already! With a 6% growth in the total reserved area, 7% of the expected number of exhibitors compared to 2015, 28% new exhibitors and many more to come, the international exhibition for road and urban transport solutions is dynamic and optimism is allowed to emerge. SOLUTRANS 2017 will be larger, richer and more international than ever, thus cementing the rendezvous of a whole industry, initiator of meetings and business, bringing innovations and information.

SOLUTRANS announces an unprecedented mobilization of all players in the market, manufacturers of HGVs, trailers and semi-trailers, manufacturers of LCVs and bodywork for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles. After-sales service specialists and service companies. To date, the show has seen the presence of VI’s from 7 main world manufacturers (DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault Trucks, Scania and Volvo) Alongside the main French and European manufacturers of trailers and semi-trailers, not to mention the major players in the LCV market (manufacturers, coachbuilders, developers and vehicle shell builders on LCV).

SOLUTRANS already shows a 7% growth in the number of exhibitors expected compared to 2015 and is preparing to welcome to date a whooping 28% of new exhibitors.

Internationally cosy

With 22% of international exhibitors registered to date, the show confirms its international reputation. 16 countries will be represented in total, including Germany, Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland

Moreover, this edition will be particularly marked by the organization of a Chinese Pavilion.

For the first time on the show, A day dedicated to Sweden, an innovative country on the development of sustainable mobility.

 

For the past two years, the Metropole of Lyon has been exchanging privileged relations with Sweden on the subject of urban deliveries. The aim of this project is to share good practices among the various actors, in the spirit of better organization, in order to promote ecology and performance.

A delegation led by Swedish Minister of Infrastructure, Anna JOHANSSON, accompanied by the Swedish ambassador to France, Veronika WAND-DANIELSSON, will be attending for the Special Day on Wednesday 22 November, which will present the evolution of autonomous and connected vehicles and Franco-Swedish collaborations.

FEATURED STARTUPS

In 2017, SOLUTRANS joins the French Tech movement by launching, a startup village organized in partnership with ARDI, LUTB-RAAC and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region for the first time. Dedicated to mobility and intelligent transport, this space will welcome young companies presenting innovative solutions, such as Convargo, Chronotruck, Dashdoc, Noox, Shippeo and Truckfly
