The EFY Group, India’s leading tech-media house, has announced the dates and venue for the third edition of its annual expo, IoTshow.in, which has also been tagged as the world’s No. 1 IoT event. Having witnessed an overwhelming response to its first two editions (at BIEC, Bengaluru), the next edition is slated to take place at the KTPO Trade Center, Whitefield, Bengaluru. The dates are February 7–9, 2018.
“As we did during the past editions, we aspire to continue providing a perfect platform for an audience of technology people, which includes SIs, OEMs and end users of IoT. At this event, they can explore the latest innovations (on display at the event), listen to the IoT leaders from India and abroad (through our technology conferences) as well as get hands-on experience on various IoT software and hardware platforms (through the workshops),” said Ramesh Chopra, executive chairman, EFY Group.
While the overall theme of the event will remain ‘Profit from IoT’, there will be a strong focus on IoT in industrial, retail, healthcare, wearables, automotive as well as the cause célèbre of smart cities. Security in IoT, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR), will be important topics of discussion — on the expo floor as well as at the conference.
Adding to this, Rahul Chopra, editorial director, EFY Group, said, “IoTshow.in is a well-planned bower of technology with the intent of enabling our technology experts, both creators as well as adopters of technology, to get access to the latest and best practices in the IoT space, and consequently enable India to become a global leader in this sphere. As has always been the case with EFY, we don’t just skim the surface; we dive deep into technology and, in that sense, this platform is no different. In fact, that’s one of the major distinguishing factors of the event.”
