Visitors to Iran’s Agrotech Agropars farm exhibition will have the opportunity to find out more about Agritechnica, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery that takes place every two years in Germany.

Representatives from Agritechnica’s organizer, DLG (German Agricultural Society), will be present at the event, which takes place at Shiraz in the southern province of Fars from 25-28 April. They will provide detailed information on the program for this year’s trade fair, and on how farmers and industry experts can attend.

Agritechnica attracted close to 100,000 international visitors in 2015 out of a total 450,000 – including several thousand from the Middle East including Iran.
With nearly 80 million inhabitants, Iran has become an increasingly important market for European agricultural machinery following the lifting of trade sanctions. The DLG team will be working hard to attract more representatives of the country’s agricultural sector to the German exhibition, which takes place in mid-November.

The exhibition offers an unparalleled range of solutions well-suited to farmers from Iran and neighboring countries. Visitors can discover for themselves the latest and most comprehensive range of equipment and solutions, from tractors and harvesters to implements for cultivation, sowing, fertilizer application and crop protection.
Leading manufacturers time their innovation cycles and product launches to coincide with Agritechnica, which takes place every two years, and more than 400 innovations were registered at the event in 2015. In addition, Agritechnica offers the unique opportunity for a practical, hands-on experience through on-site field trials that demonstrate the benefits of adopting new farming techniques.

Agritechnica 2017 takes place from 12-18 November at Hanover’s Exhibition Grounds. More than 452,000 visitors and 2,892 exhibitors attended the event in 2015, making it the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to agricultural machinery and technology.
