South Asia’s most important trade fair for the maritime and shipping industry – INMEX SMM India organized by Informa Exhibitions opened its doors today. The most comprehensive, industry-spanning trade fair in South Asia, INMEX SMM India 2017 got off to a busy start, with more than 500 participating exhibitors from 30 countries and country pavilions from China, Denmark, Germany and the USA, making their presence felt at the show.
INMEX SMM India was inaugurated by dignitaries from the Indian maritime and shipping industry namely Vice Admiral Ravneet Singh, Chief of Staff – Western Naval Command, Indian Navy; Dr. Malini Shankar, IAS, Director General of Shipping, Government of India, and Ms. Ann Ollestad, Consul General of Norway in Mumbai, alongside other eminent industry players.
