Where’s the global alcohol and beverage industry heading? What’s the future of beverage distribution going to look like? And what are the marketing trends industry experts simply can’t miss? Find all the answers at the Global Drinks Forum in Berlin on 9 October 2017. After the highly successful debut a year ago, key brand owners and managers, marketing professionals, product managers, business development experts, distributors, wholesalers, importers and bar operators will once again be invited to attend the international symposium at the Ellington Hotel to exchange ideas and to network. Early birds have until 24 July to get their hands on one of the limited discount tickets.

Marketing ideas for the global beverage industry

The Global Drinks Forum will kick off the Bar Convent Berlin, which is scheduled to take place at Station Berlin on 10 & 11 October 2017. A top theme at the one-day conference in 2017 will be global brand development. Mark Meek, CEO of ISWR, the International Wine & Spirits Report, will share first-hand the latest insights from the world’s largest database on the alcohol and beverage industry. Nick Blacknell, meanwhile, will talk about successful marketing strategies for brands and products that aren’t in vogue right now. The global managing director of the Havana Club won’t just discuss real-world examples from his own bar, he’ll also shine a light on the things big brands can learn from small ones. Other topics to be explored at the Global Drinks Forum include the psychology of brands and packaging, and creative ways for the beverage industry to deal with the challenge of sustainability. The line-up of speakers features major industry players like Adrian D. Parker, vice-president of the Patrón Spirits Company, and Jacob Briars, global advocacy director of Bacardi and president of the Global Drinks Forums 2017. All seminars and lectures will be presented in English.

Early booking is recommended as the limited tickets are highly sought after. “There is no other event that offers the kind of perspective on the drinks industry offered by the Global Drinks Forum,” says Alice Lascelles, Drinks Journalist of the British Financial Times. “The mix of speakers, from both inside and outside the industry, was of a very high calibre and the talks were both entertaining and extremely insightful, offering fresh perspectives on many familiar (and not so familiar) topics. I shall definitely be back again this year.”
