CEATEC JAPAN has developed from a trade fair for state-of-the-art IT and electronics to a CPS / IoT exhibition. The exhibition takes place four days from October 3 (Tue) to October 6 (Fri) at Makuhari Fair (Mihama, Chiba City).This year, CEATEC JAPAN will serve as a shop window for company 5.0, Japan ‘s concept of the ultra – smart community of the future. In the IoT, robots and artificial intelligence (AI). CEATEC JAPAN features three areas to reflect different CPS / IOT applications and development: Community & Town, Home & Lifestyle, and Device & Software. They will be exhibiting the technologies that offer solutions to the societal challenges.
In this area, the IoT City 2017 will focus on creative partnerships with various industries. A true “2020 Showcase”, with intelligent factories and regional revitalization; AI Pavilion, a special exhibition sponsored by the National Institute for Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST); And Global Startup Showcase, where overseas startups gather. CEATEC JAPAN 2017 will be attended by many leading companies and organizations.
More than 100 conferences combine politics, industry and technology
CEATEC JAPAN 2017 Conferences show a future in which IoT, robots and AI play an important role. Fintech, tourism, smart cities, self-propelled vehicles, intelligent homes, cybersecurity, intelligent agriculture, 5G, data mining and open data are exhibited among the numerous topics that are relevant to the most important components of the company. A total of more than 100 conferences are planned; Seat reservations can already be made via the official website.

On the evening of 2 October (Mon), the day before the start of the CEATEC JAPAN 2017 , an opening ceremony/speech will be held in the center of Tokyo, according to the pattern established in 2016.

With the CPS / IoT exhibition, CEATEC JAPAN 2017 will present futuristic concepts and new business models to the attendees, and will bring the key technologies of the CPS / IoT together. The success of last year’s CEATEC JAPAN was a very promising start for this CPS / IoT exhibition as it provides a venue for the creation of new business by reducing barriers between different industries and areas of excellence, while at the same time creating co-creation, international cooperation and policy-making,
Chiba is the capital of Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It is located about 40 km (25 miles) southeast of downtown Tokyo on the Tokyo Bay. Chiba City is one of the main ports in the Kanto region, home to Chiba Port, which handles one of the highest volumes of goods in the country. There are many major urban centers in the city, including Makuhari, the main waterfront business district that is located Makuhari Mes, and Central Chiba, where the provincial government office and city hall are located.
