CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf (26 August to 3 September 2017, trade and media day on 25 August) is attracting ever higher numbers of visitors exploring caravanning as a type of vacationing for the first time who have never attended the CARAVAN SALON before. A huge line-up of vehicle types, different layouts and technical features await visitors to the world’s largest trade fair for mobile leisure. For all these newcomers the neutral and manufacturer-independent “StarterWorld – Discover Camping & Caravanning” is the just the right place to come. Here they can gather basic information and receive key fundamentals from experts helping them to make the right purchasing decisions.

The StarterWorld is located centrally in the outdoor space in its own dedicated area PuTTY , Hall 18, providing the ideal link between all the halls.

Obviously, all visitors wishing to find out more about driving a motorhome or caravan or gather information on their technical functionalities are welcome to the Special Show. In various themed worlds both newcomers and seasoned caravanning enthusiasts can find out all kinds of interesting and valuable information on mobile vacationing. “We have reacted to the feedback received from visitors in the last two years and have now further optimised the StarterWorld. Service overall will be upgraded and individual assistance extended. Furthermore, the range addressing all age brackets will be rounded off by new interactive and multi-media content,” said Stefan Koschke, CARAVAN SALON Director.

Amongst other things, the functions and handling of the on-board technology will be demonstrated on the different motorhome and caravan models on display. Experts will provide hands-on tips and recommendations on travel routes, equipment, vehicle technology or choice of campsite and will also be available to answer questions on specific issues and give individual advice.

Once again this year sector professionals will give talks on the most varied topics revolving around mobile vacationing.
